How to praise through difficult times By Oluwakemi Eunice Alofe  One of my favourite songs is Marvin Sapp's “Praising Him in advance”. In it he made a statement we can all relate with. He said, “I’ve had my share of ups and downs” who hasn’t? When aren’t we going through something big or small? The world appears like it's designed to frustrate our efforts. But from this song, I’ve learned two important lessons and they are: Praise will confuse the enemy  People around may laugh and wonder why you are praising through a situation because what they know is the problem and pain you’re going through. But what determines your response is what you know. What do you know? Marvin sang that he knew that God would take the problems and pain away and that was why he could praise. What is the true goal of satan? by Pastor Adebowale Ibukun Tosin Satan isn't fighting many things as we think. His main fight is against the word of God! Now, I haven't said he doesn't deal in oppression and afflictions. Of course, he does!  Acts 10:38 (NIV) how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. The verse above shows that he is found in sicknesses and diseases. Why does he do this also? To cut short people's lives so they don't encounter the gospel! A believer who is always sick also cannot be as effective in the ministry. All the trials and afflictions in the world are designed to weaken convictions and effectiveness!
