 Beautifully Rooted in Christ conference Hi everyone, I can't believe it's time for another Beautifully Rooted in Christ conference and this time is going to be mindblowing. Last year was powerful, over 100 women gathered together virtually over the course of two days to fellowship, listen to the word of God and pray together.  This year, we will be meeting in -person to do the same thing in a bigger capacity. I thank God for putting this vision in my heart and I trust Him to keep doing His work in me to impact this current generation.  This event was inspired by  Colossians 2:7 says having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude The aim is to help women deepen their roots in Christ, be built up in the faith, and be established to fulfill God's calling over their lives. What to do when waiting on God Many people ask What do I do when waiting on God? Are you waiting on God for a job? A spouse? A car? or anything at all? I waited on the lord for 14 months for my husband's spousal visa and in this video, I share a couple of things that helped me as I waited on the Lord. Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.”Then the Lord said to Samuel: “Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle.” - excerpt from 1 Samuel 3: 1 - 10 (NKJV) Hearing a still small or audible voice from God like how he spoke to Abraham, Moses, Samuel and others in the Old Testament is usually perceived as the only way God speaks to us and the only way we can hear from God. However, this will be a way for us to box God in His expressions. We know there are no limitations with God hence there are several ways He speaks to us that is not audible like you will see in human communication. To hear from God is to first know that you are one with Him hence you're always in touch with Him. In your communion with God, you learn His ways and know His mind.
