Prayers as we end the year by Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun I can't believe this year is wrapping up already, we said Happy New Year last week not too long ago and now we're about to say Happy New Year again. We give God all the thanks for another year. You may be thinking, why should I be thankful after everything I experienced this year? And I know that feeling too well. Be that as it may, it is a biblical instruction to remain thankful. There's a lot to say thank you for. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition) Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. So yes, give thanks to the God of your salvation.
